Labor and Delivery
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Columbus, Ohio
- 13-week contract
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
- 36 hours per week
- May be required to float
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Ability to start IVs
- Experience with Epic
- Ohio RN license verification within 30 days of start
- NURSYS verification
- Emergency Contact Form
- Background check
- Fingerprinting
- Pending background check attestation if starting with fingerprint results pending
- Employment application
- Skills checklist
- 2 professional references, with at least 1 from a manager/director or someone in a formal leadership capacity
Preferred
- Previous travel experience
Additional Notes
- Orientation Safety Manual acknowledgement required annually
- Unit-specific competency exam required
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam required prior to start
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam required within 1 year of start and updated annually unless excluded by unit policy
- Fit testing may be required depending on patient-facing status and assignment timing
- Flu vaccination or declination required during flu season for non-remote candidates
- COVID vaccination is not required but is recommended
