RN Emergency Room

Overview

Location: Fort Madison, Iowa
Employment type: LTA
Shift: 14:00 - 02:30
Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Summary

Emergency Room RN responsible for patient assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, and triage in the emergency care setting.
EPIC EMR experience in a like unit within the last 12 months is required.
Traveler must self-study telemetry strips upon acceptance and pass a basic dysrhythmia test during orientation to work in the Emergency Department.
May occasionally be placed on call during low census and must be able to arrive on-site within one hour if called in.
Every other holiday rotation is required.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS
ACLS
TNCC
NIHSS
CPI/MOAB
BD Screening Attestation
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
Experience with Epic
