Description
Operating Room RN
Location
- Dickinson, North Dakota
Assignment Details
- 13-week contract
- Day shift
- 9-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday
- 36 hours per week
- Department: Operating Room (RN)
- 6 ORs and 1 GI suite
- No clinical involvement
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Dakota
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- Experience with general surgery
- Orthopedics experience
- OB/GYN experience
Preferred Qualifications
- None stated
Schedule
- Team/self scheduling
- 1–2 call shifts per week based on need
- 1 weekend per month
- Holiday call required
- Call response time: 15 minutes
Floating
- May occasionally help other departments with non-patient-load tasks such as call lights and 1:1s
Additional Details
- OR techs are present
- Scrub color/dress code provided
- 1 week of unit/department-specific orientation
- All certifications required at time of submission
- Fit testing may be required if facial hair is present
