Gynecologic Oncology RN

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Spokane, Washington
• Outpatient clinic setting
• Day shift: 5x8, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Start date: ASAP
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Role can be true travel or temp to perm

Role Focus

• Triage for medication reactions, possible concerning surgical outcomes, symptoms of potential recurrence, and related concerns
• Pre/post operative education and assessment
• Supporting patients through their treatment course safely
• Work is split about 50% in the OR and 50% in clinic

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Clinic experience within the last year
• 2 years of clinic experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart&Stroke
• SICU - Surgical Intensive Care experience
• OR - Operating Room experience
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
• Oncology experience
• OB/GYN experience

Preferred

• Gynecology experience
• Surgical experience
• Experience with voiding trials
• Experience with central line flushes / port flushes

Schedule

• Weekends not required
• Call not required

Additional Notes

• Locals accepted
• RTO must be included at time of submittal
• Clinic sees about 30–40 patients daily
• Nurse visits generally do not exceed 3–6 daily
