Respiratory Therapist

Overview

• Location: Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin
• Schedule: 12-hour nights, 3rd shift
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Summary

• Performs respiratory care and pulmonary diagnostic procedures for patients with cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Provides therapeutic treatment, diagnostic testing, medication administration to the cardiopulmonary system, ventilatory support, bronchopulmonary clearance, breathing exercises, patient education, CPR, and maintenance of natural and artificial airways.
• Works in critical care and non-critical care areas with patients of all ages.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Wisconsin
• Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience
• Associate degree in respiratory care
• Experience in a critical care setting
• BLS
• NRP

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a hospital setting providing respiratory care.
• Bachelor’s degree for Respiratory Care.
• ACLS
• AARC and WSRC membership
