Overview

• 13-week travel assignment in Gillette, Wyoming
• Nights; 12-hour day/night rotating shifts
• Level II NICU / Level II Nursery setting
• 5-bed Level II nursery and 15-bed general nursery in the same area

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of strong Level III NICU experience
• Wyoming RN license required prior to start
• Eligible for a temporary Wyoming RN license if not yet licensed at submission, with a clear background screen
• NRP certification
• BLS / CPR certification issued through American Heart Association

Preferred

• STABLE certification
• Couplet care competency, or willingness to learn basic mom/baby skills

Role Details

• Cares for babies in the Level II Nursery
• Attends all deliveries and C-sections
• May care for babies in the general nursery when there are no babies in the Level II nursery
• Minimal ventilator use; babies needing ventilation longer than 24 hours are transferred to a larger facility

Schedule

• Self-scheduling in 6-week blocks
• May be asked to work 3 weekends or a holiday during the 6-week schedule if needed
• Option to pick up extra shifts
• Can schedule 4 shifts per week if desired

Additional Notes

• Local candidates are not accepted; 50-mile radius restriction
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation
• Scrubs are provided
• Department uses Meditech for physician orders and GE Centricity for charting
