Overview
- Travel assignment in Nashville, Tennessee
- Unit: CCU
- Main Tower
- 32 beds
- Patient ratio: 2:1
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- CCU - Coronary Care (2 years of experience)
- CCU - Coronary Care experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Cardiac patients
- PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring
- IABP
- Impella
Preferred
- CRRT preferred
Unit Details
- Student nurse externs available as techs
- Unit secretary available Monday through Friday, 0730-1530
- Equipment includes Hill-Rom beds and Phillips telemetry monitors
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Float as needed to units depending on census
- 4-week schedules with 3-4 weekend shifts required per scheduling period
Clinical Focus
- PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring
- IABP
- Impella
- Central line insertion
- Swan insertion
- Intubations
- Cardiogenic shock program with 12 beds allotted to cardiogenic shock patients
