- 3W Stepdown
- 28-bed private unit
Required Qualifications
- RN license
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Unexpired driver’s license
- Must be able to read and interpret strips
Assignment Details
- Tele monitors: Yes
- Ratios: 1:4-5, or 1:6 with MedSurg acuity
- Floating: Could float to ICU as helping hands
- Orientation: 2 shifts with a preceptor
- Shift: Days, 12 hours
- Schedule: Every other weekend; must work Christmas or New Years
Clinical Notes
- Heavy cardiac patient mix, including dysrhythmias and CVAs
- Includes patients downgraded from the ICU
- Must be able to titrate Cardizem, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Heparin drips
- Vents: Bipap, Cpap, High Flow
