Labor and Delivery RN
Overview
- Travel/contract L&D RN in Anchorage, Alaska
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights, 4x12 hours
- Hours per week: 48
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Alaska
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- AWHONN Intermediate
- AWHONN Advanced
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
Preferred
- Charge experience
Unit Information
- OB Triage/Testing: 5-10
- 7-14 LD/Antepartum
- High Risk LD unit
- 10 OB Triage rooms
- 10 LDR rooms
- 3 OR suites
- 4 PACU rooms
- Average daily deliveries around 7, with up to 14 patients during inductions and high-risk antepartum
- OB Triage averages 4-5 third trimester testing patients, plus triage patients each day

- Guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks, with possible call-off for 1 12-hour shift per 2 weeks
- RTO must be included in submittal
