NICU RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Portland, Oregon
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift: 3x12s, 19:00–07:30
- Facility type: Children’s
Unit / Float Scope
- NICU
- May float within scope for patients under 1 year of age
- Float scope may include PICU, Peds Acute (Infants floor), or NICU Overflow Location
- Expected to float within a site and across the system
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oregon
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic

Schedule Requirements
- Weekend requirement: 3 Saturdays and 3 Sundays in a 6-week schedule period
- At least 1 holiday required, either July 4th or Labor Day
- No on-call
Additional Notes
- First-timers not accepted
- Locals not accepted; cannot live within 50 miles of any Legacy facility
- Finalized RTO must be included with submission
- No RTO within the first week of start date
- No more than 7 days of RTO per assignment
- Contracted hours; low-census cancellation may apply
- Epic charting
- Free parking in any unrestricted space
