MS/Tele Float Pool RN

Overview

13-week contract
Burien, Washington
12-hour shifts: 7a-7p or 7p-7a
Nights
36 hours per week

Unit Details

MS/Tele Float Pool
34 beds
Patient ratio: 1:6
Common patient types include heart dysrhythmias, GI issues, dialysis, and general medical patients

Required Qualifications

RN license
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
NIHSS
Experience with dialysis patients
Cardiac skills
Tele experience

Preferred Qualifications

PCU experience
ICU experience

Schedule and Work Expectations

Every other weekend
Holidays required
No call or standby
Everyone floats to Tele units
Primary assignment is St Anne Hospital, with floating throughout Region One if needed

Additional Notes

Few drips are titrated, including low-dose dopamine
Nurse aides are present, with 10-12 patients per aide
Charge nurse/house supervisor is available
Unit orientation is 1-2 days
Professional colors are allowed
Clinical profile review is required before interview
EPIC is used on the unit
