Description
Operating Room Registered Nurse
Overview
- 10-hour day shift, Tuesday through Friday, 0630A-1700P
- Call required
- 40 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Location: Fort Myers, Florida
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Neuro patients
- Experience with robotic surgery
- Orthopedic Neurology experience
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS
- PALS
Unit / Clinical Setting
- Operating Room
- Strong ortho, oncology, bariatrics, vascular, neuro, trauma, and robotics case mix
Schedule / Call
- 1 shift per week after the scheduled day for 2 to 4 hours
- 1 to 2 weekend call shifts per month, 12 hours each
Float / Assignment Notes
- Floating required
- Travelers are first to float, including to other sister campuses
Additional Notes
- Scrubs provided by the hospital
- Epic EMR
- Culture is emphasized as very important
- All requested time off must be included at submission
- Hard document deadline is Monday prior to start
- No pending documents accepted
