Description
RN (Registered Nurse), North Tower 5, Nights
Location: Silverdale, Washington Contract Length: 13 weeks Schedule: Nights, 7 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week, FTE based
Required Qualifications
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Washington RN license or Compact license
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in acute care
Unit Details
- Unit: North Tower 5, Med-Surg/Telemetry
- Beds: 18
- RN ratio: 1:4 to 1:5
- Nurse aide ratio: 1:9
- Charge: Charge RN
- Monitoring: Tele/monitor techs on unit; RNs read strips (pending approval of position)
- Patient types: Medical-surgical overflow, including CHF, DM, UTI, non-critical sepsis, HTN, COPD, isolation, end-of-life/palliative, awaiting placement, and post-op general surgery
- Drips: RNs titrate drips, limited to Heparin gtt and Cardizem gtt (up to 10 mg/hr)
- Respiratory equipment: CPAP and BiPAP; High Flow is not available
Schedule and Expectations
- Weekends: Required, based on unit needs and demands
- Holidays: Preferred; manager will discuss during phone interview
- Call/standby: Not required
- Floating: Float as needed
- Orientation: 2-shift orientation
- Scrubs: No specific color, per manager
- Start date: Requires manager approval
