Emergency Department RN MID Shift

Shift and Schedule

• Shift: Evening, 3x12-hour MID shifts (1500-0300)
• Hours: 12 per day, 36 per week
• Weekend work: Required per department needs
• Floating: Not required
• On-call: Not required
• Time off requests (RTO): Pre-approved time off is at the manager's discretion and must be included at submission.
• Holiday RTO: Cannot be approved for contracts at this time. Thanksgiving RTO will be reviewed in October, and Christmas and New Year RTO in November. Accommodation is not guaranteed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• ED - Emergency Department (2.5 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients

Facility Requirements

• Completed HIPAA education module, completed before the facility modules
• Completed facility modules, which must be done from home on the Monday of start week and completed by the first in-person day on Tuesday (candidates may be cleared as "Module Pending")
• Returning candidates may submit certificates dated within 12 months before start
• Review before start, with nothing to turn in: drug and alcohol-free policy, dress and appearance policy, hand hygiene policy, discharge optimization, and care briefing
