CT Technologist

Location: Hillsborough, North Carolina Shift: Nights, Monday through Thursday (8:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.) Hours: 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week Contract Length: 13 weeks

Role Overview

• Perform CT procedures and tests to acquire and analyze patient diagnostic data.
• Verify patient identity, obtain patient history, and document pregnancy status for patients of child-bearing age.
• Obtain and manipulate images per protocol, including multi-planar and 3D reconstructions.
• Administer oral contrast to adult and pediatric patients, establish IV lines, and administer IV contrast following safe injection procedures.
• Check lab values and contrast eligibility before injection.
• Transmit images, verify and segment images at the QC station, and manage orders and charge accuracy.
• Review patient charts and reports for correlation, document incidents for improvement, and maintain a clean work environment.
• Precept new employees and students.

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist, with experience within the last year.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiological Sciences (ARRT).
• Current competency in basic life support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association.
• Experience with 3D imaging.
