Location: Golden, Colorado

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule:

• Night shift, 12-hour shifts (3 per week, 1900-0730)
• Weekends rotating
• 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week

Role Summary:

• Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions under state Board of Nursing practice standards
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care
• Evaluates health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data
• Provides health teaching, health counseling, and therapy and treatment
• Executes delegated medical functions, refers patients for further evaluation or treatment, and reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans
• Documents in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines
• May be required to float to other departments (within scope of competency and qualifications) based on business need
• May be required to be placed on call during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements:

• Valid RN license in Colorado
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing (graduation from an accredited school of nursing)
• PCU (Progressive Care Unit) experience of 1 year, with experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• NIHSS certification
