Mammography Tech - Radiology
Location: Lafayette, Indiana Employment type: Travel Contract length: 26 weeks Position type: Replacement Position: Mammographer
Unit and Schedule
- Department: Breast Center, 2nd floor
- Number of beds: 225
- Patient ratios: 8 technologists managing the breast center's daily workload
- Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- Weekend shifts: At the discretion of the unit leader
- Float requirements: No
- Patient type: Outpatient
- Equipment: Hologic
- Reporting location: 1st floor Radiology, north entrance
- Scrub color: Grey
Required Qualifications
- Valid Mammography Technologist license in Indiana
- Mammography Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Mammography Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT certification with a valid ARRT license
Role Expectations
- Proficient technologist who works well in a team to complete requested imaging exams in a timely fashion
- Willing to fill in on various shifts when staffing issues arise in the department
