PACU Registered Nurse (Travel)

Overview

Location: Petaluma, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5 x 8 hours (8:00 to 16:30); variable day shifts 7, 8, 9, or 11
Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
PACU (Post Anesthesia Care) experience of at least 1 year, with experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Conditional Certifications

Certifications are required only if the unit's requirements specify them; verify with the unit. Listed certifications include ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, CHEMO, TNCC, EFM, IV certification, MAB, NIH Stroke, and CPI.

Other Requirements

Float policy: Float policy acknowledgement required. Traveler may be required to float to another facility within a reasonable distance.
Annual training: About 3.5 hours of annual regulatory modules, plus California regional core modules.
