Description
CT Tech Radiology
Location: Dothan, Alabama Employment Type: Travel Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 36 Shift: Nights (M-TR), rotating between 6p-6a and 9p-6a shifts
Responsibilities and Scope
- Provide timely diagnostic services to inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a radiologist and departmental protocols
- Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
- Perform routine diagnostic CT procedures, including CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
- Perform CT with and without contrast media, and CTA with 3D reconstruction
- Work with Philips and GE scanners
- Apply knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, and cross-sectional anatomy
Required Qualifications
- CT Technologist with 2 years of experience
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT certification (CT certification not required)
- State license as a general radiographer
- Graduate of an accredited school
- Experience with GE imaging equipment
- Experience with Philips imaging equipment
- Experience with 3D imaging
