Description

RN - Case Mgmt

Location: Port Charlotte, Florida Employment Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 36

Schedule

Shifts are AM and PM. Parking is on the third or fourth floor of the parking garage.
Traveler is scheduled per facility policy and is expected to work every other weekend and holidays, in rotation with hospital employees.

Unit and Staffing

Department: Case Management, with unit-based RN CM and SW (social work) roles
Facility Bed Capacity: 253
Day Shift Example: 1 charge, 3 RN, 2 CNA, and 1-3 sitters
Patient Ratio: 1 RN CM to 20-25 patients
Most Recruited For: Travel RNs, local CNAs, and sitters

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS certification
Case Management experience (1 year)
Case Management experience within the last year
Experience in a hospital setting

Strong time management and multitasking skills
