Experience: Previous LTAC, med/surg, or critical care experience strongly preferred

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse for a night shift position at a Long-Term Acute Care facility in Bristol, Tennessee. This RN will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting a multidisciplinary care team focused on positive recovery outcomes for medically complex patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission

• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient condition and goals

• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other team members to coordinate care

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and patient responses

• Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs, CNAs, and support staff

• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and discharge planning

• Promote a safe and supportive care environment for patients and staff

• Maintain communication with leadership on equipment, training, and staffing needs

• Serve as charge RN as needed following orientation

• Support staff growth through mentoring and professional development

Requirements:

• Active TN RN license or compact RN license

• Current BLS certification (AHA required)

• 1–2 years of recent acute care or LTAC nursing experience

• Strong communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills

• Familiarity with electronic medical records and care documentation standards
