Travel LTAC Registered Nurse – Nights

Assignment Length: 13 Weeks

HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel RN for a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility in Davenport, Iowa. This is a 13-week night shift assignment, working 3x12s. As a vital part of the interdisciplinary team, the RN will provide high-level care, support recovery goals, and maintain a safe, compassionate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete thorough nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission

• Develop and manage individualized care plans

• Document patient progress, interventions, and responses accurately and on time

• Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences and weekly re-evaluations

• Educate patients and families throughout the care process

• Initiate discharge planning on admission and lead patient/family teaching

• Collaborate with attending physicians and nursing leadership regarding patient care

• Delegate tasks appropriately to LPNs, CNAs, and support staff

• Promote a safe work and patient care environment

• Contribute positively to team morale and unit functioning

• Provide charge RN duties as assigned

• Monitor supply usage and contribute to cost-effective care

• Pursue continued education and maintain clinical competencies

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Iowa or compact state

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care, critical care, or LTAC experience preferred

• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills

• Ability to assess, plan, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
