HumanEdge Health is seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility in Erie, Pennsylvania. This 13-week night shift assignment is ideal for RNs who are confident in complex care settings and committed to high standards of safety, collaboration, and compassion.

As a Travel RN, you’ll provide direct patient care while supervising LPNs, CNAs, and orientees. You'll ensure nursing care plans are followed, maintain clinical excellence, and help create a supportive, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission to inform individualized care plans

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and actively participate in team conferences and care planning

• Educate patients and families throughout the care process to support safe discharge planning

• Accurately document patient care, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record

• Monitor patient status and communicate changes clearly and efficiently to the care team

• Supervise and delegate appropriately to ancillary staff

• Follow all hospital policies on safety, infection control, and professional appearance

• Support a safe and organized unit environment through teamwork and positive communication

• Maintain cost-effective care and participate in monitoring supplies and equipment needs

• Assume charge responsibilities after orientation as needed

• Engage in continued learning and professional development

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania (or compact state license)

• 1+ year of experience in LTAC, med-surg, or acute care preferred

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

• Strong clinical skills, teamwork, and leadership qualities

• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems
