HumanEdge Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Travel LTAC RN for a day shift contract opportunity in Florence, South Carolina. Join a supportive team environment focused on quality, safety, and patient-centered care.

Position Overview:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the delivery of high-quality care in accordance with the individualized nursing care plan. This role includes the supervision of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees.

Responsibilities:

• Complete patient assessments within 8 hours of admission to establish an individualized care plan

• Provide accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes

• Deliver direct patient care using evidence-based practices and the nursing process

• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and post-discharge care

• Communicate patient status and care updates to physicians and interdisciplinary team

• Act as a resource to team members and provide leadership during assigned shifts

• Supervise and delegate responsibilities to support personnel appropriately

• Initiate and support discharge planning from the day of admission

• Ensure safety in patient handling, infection control, and work environment practices

• Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences and quality improvement initiatives

• Maintain supply inventory and support cost-effective care delivery

• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development

• May assume charge nurse duties when required

Requirements:

• Active RN license in South Carolina or compact state

• BLS and ACLS certifications required

• 1+ years of LTAC, med-surg, or acute care experience strongly preferred

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to lead teams and thrive in a high-acuity setting
