Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12s | 36 hours/week | 13 Weeks 
Shift Time: 1845 – 0715 | Every Other Weekend Required

Overview:

HumanEdge Health is hiring experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for night shift travel positions in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility located in Bristol, Tennessee. This assignment offers the chance to work with a medically complex patient population in a collaborative, team-based care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission to form the basis of individualized care plans

• Develop and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team

• Supervise and delegate responsibilities to LPNs, CNAs, and orientees

• Educate patients and families on care procedures and discharge plans

• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely

• Communicate changes in patient status with the attending physician and charge nurse

• Participate in weekly team conferences and support patient rehabilitation programming

• Maintain a safe care environment by following infection control, fall prevention, and patient handling protocols

• Provide leadership and guidance to ancillary staff and foster a positive team environment

• Report and assist in resolving supply, equipment, or training needs to ensure quality patient care

• Assume charge nurse duties as assigned after appropriate orientation

• Engage in continuous learning and professional growth

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in LTAC, step-down, or med/surg

• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

• Comfortable working night shifts and every other weekend
