Travel Registered Nurse – LTAC
Location: Florence, SC
Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12s | 36 hours/week | 13 Weeks

Position Summary:

HumanEdge Health is hiring experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for night shift travel roles in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility in Florence, South Carolina. Nurses in this setting provide care to medically complex patients and support rehabilitation goals in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team

• Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs, CNAs, and new staff/orientees

• Provide accurate and timely documentation of patient care, interventions, and responses

• Participate in weekly care conferences and rehabilitation programming

• Initiate and support discharge planning starting at admission

• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and the charge nurse

• Promote and maintain a safe care environment following infection control and safety protocols

• Provide leadership and guidance to support a positive unit culture

• Support supply and equipment needs and contribute to cost-effective care

• Assume charge nurse responsibilities when assigned

• Engage in continuing education and professional growth activities

Requirements:

• Active RN license in South Carolina or compact state

• 1+ year recent experience in LTAC, med-surg, or similar acute setting

• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

• Willingness to work every other weekend

• Strong communication and clinical skills
