MRI Technologist

Travel MRI Technologist – Weekend Days – Rochester, NY 
Start Date: September 2 
Contract Length: 13 Weeks 
Schedule:

	First 2 weeks: Full-time (40 hours/week) orientation; day and/or evening shifts as needed

	Starting 9/6–9/7: Weekend shifts, Saturday and Sunday, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM

HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel MRI Technologist for a weekend-based assignment in Rochester, NY. This role offers a structured orientation followed by independent weekend coverage in a high-quality diagnostic imaging environment.


<h3>Position Summary</h3>

You’ll perform routine and specialized MRI procedures using GE or Siemens scanners. The role requires strong technical ability, patient-focused communication, and comfort working independently on weekends.


<h3>Duties and Responsibilities</h3>

<ul>
	<li>
	Operate MRI equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images
	
	</li><li>
	Prepare and position patients; explain procedures clearly to reduce anxiety
	
	</li><li>
	Perform routine MSK, neuro, spine, and occasional body imaging
	
	</li><li>
	Complete all necessary documentation in compliance with EPIC and hospital protocols
	
	</li><li>
	Coordinate with physicians for efficient workflow
	
	</li><li>
	Maintain equipment and scanning area cleanliness
	
	</li><li>
	Support patient care needs during scanning sessions
	
</li></ul>


<h3>Requirements</h3>

<ul>
	<li>
	Minimum two (2) years of MRI Technologist experience
	
	</li><li>
	BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
	
	</li><li>
	Experience with GE or Siemens MRI scanners is required
	
	</li><li>
	Proficiency in:

	<ul>
		</ul></li><li>
		Non-contrast exams
		
		</li><li>
		Routine MSK
		
		</li><li>
		Neuro and spine imaging
		
		</li><li>
		Occasional body MRI
		
	</li></ul>
	
	<li>
	Must be available to work 40 hours per week during the first two weeks of orientation
	
	</li><li>
	Ability to work independently for weekend coverage
	



<h3>Preferred</h3>

	ARRT certification (MRI or RT) preferred or willingness to obtain during/after contract
	
</li></ul>
