Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Location: Syracuse, NY
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 3x12s | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Weekend/Holiday/Float Requirements: Every other weekend, some holidays. Must float between Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery as needed.
Position Summary:
Join a compassionate Family Birth Center team delivering exceptional maternal-newborn care in a busy hospital setting. This travel RN will rotate between Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn Nursery, and must be confident in circulating and scrubbing C-sections.
Job Duties:

Provide safe, high-quality, family-centered care during labor, birth, postpartum recovery, and newborn care

Circulate and scrub for Cesarean sections

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and pediatric staff

Conduct patient assessments and ongoing monitoring

Document care in EPIC EMR

Support patients and families during emotionally intense experiences
Requirements:

Active NY RN License – REQUIRED
-
BLS (AHA) – REQUIRED
-
Minimum 1.5 years of recent L&D experience in an acute care setting – REQUIRED

Experience in Postpartum and Nursery – REQUIRED
-
Circulating and Scrubbing for C-sections – REQUIRED
-
EPIC experience – Preferred
