Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Location: Syracuse, NY
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 3x12s | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Weekend/Holiday/Float Requirements: Every other weekend, some holidays. Must float between Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery as needed.

Position Summary:

Join a compassionate Family Birth Center team delivering exceptional maternal-newborn care in a busy hospital setting. This travel RN will rotate between Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn Nursery, and must be confident in circulating and scrubbing C-sections.

Job Duties:

• Provide safe, high-quality, family-centered care during labor, birth, postpartum recovery, and newborn care

• Circulate and scrub for Cesarean sections

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and pediatric staff

• Conduct patient assessments and ongoing monitoring

• Document care in EPIC EMR

• Support patients and families during emotionally intense experiences

Requirements:

• Active NY RN License – REQUIRED

• BLS (AHA) – REQUIRED

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent L&D experience in an acute care setting – REQUIRED

• Experience in Postpartum and Nursery – REQUIRED

• Circulating and Scrubbing for C-sections – REQUIRED

• EPIC experience – Preferred
