Shift: 12-hour Days/Evenings/Nights – Rotating schedule, including weekends, holidays, on-call/callback, and charge responsibilities per unit needs

Position Overview:
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Pediatric Cardiac Care RN for a 17-week travel assignment in Rochester, NY. The Pediatric Cardiac Care Center (PCCC) provides comprehensive diagnosis, surgical and medical treatment, and long-term follow-up care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with both acquired and congenital cardiac conditions. As the only pediatric cardiac care center in Western NY, this specialized unit treats some of the most complex and rare congenital cardiac disorders.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care for pediatric patients with cardiac conditions, from admission through post-operative recovery and follow-up.

• Collaborate with an expert multidisciplinary care team to deliver evidence-based treatment.

• Respond to acute changes in patient condition with skilled interventions.

• Participate in on-call, callback, weekend, and holiday rotations as assigned.

• Serve in charge nurse capacity when needed.

Requirements:

• Active RN License (NY License ONLY)

• Minimum 2 years of pediatric cardiac care experience

• Ability to work a rotating D/E/N schedule

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Certifications Required:

• BLS – American Heart Association ONLY

• PALS – American Heart Association ONLY
