Description

Job Opportunity: Radiologic Technologist - MRI

Qualifications

A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
NYS license/registration required
Minimum one year CT/MRI experience as a radiologic technologist
Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance

Job Duties

Perform radiographic examinations under the direction of departmental radiologists
Greet patients and explain the examination process
Position patients and set proper exposure factors to obtain quality radiographs
Practice appropriate radiation safety and protection to minimize patient exposure
Operate imaging equipment efficiently and effectively to obtain quality studies
Report any equipment malfunctions to immediate supervisor
Process films and input information into the Radiology Information System for documentation and billing
Follow department procedures and protocols as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual
Provide radiologic examinations based on referring physician and radiologist needs

Additional Information

Position: Radiologic Technologist - MRI
Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Preferred experience: Level 1 Trauma or Siemens Scanner
Immediate start needed
