Job Opportunity: Pediatric ICU Night RN

Unit: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
Shift: Night
Schedule: Every other weekend and some holidays required

Qualifications

• Current New York State RN license
• Certified in BLS and able to maintain certification
• Minimum 3 years recent PICU experience (within past 2 years) in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center or similar acute care facility
• Experience in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma centers required for travelers
• EPIC Electronic Medical Records experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• No history of professional license or certification suspension or investigation
• No involvement as a defendant in professional liability claims
• Legal right to work in the U.S.
• Must pass pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and criminal background check

Job Duties

• Perform majority of patient care skills independently
• Conduct thorough nursing assessments in an acute care pediatric setting
• Work with minimal orientation and supervision
