Job Opportunity: Pediatric ICU Night RN
Unit: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
Shift: Night
Schedule: Every other weekend and some holidays required
Qualifications
- Current New York State RN license
- Certified in BLS and able to maintain certification
- Minimum 3 years recent PICU experience (within past 2 years) in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center or similar acute care facility
- Experience in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma centers required for travelers
- EPIC Electronic Medical Records experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- No history of professional license or certification suspension or investigation
- No involvement as a defendant in professional liability claims
- Legal right to work in the U.S.
- Must pass pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and criminal background check
Job Duties
- Perform majority of patient care skills independently
- Conduct thorough nursing assessments in an acute care pediatric setting
- Work with minimal orientation and supervision
