Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Endoscopy

Position Details

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN) for Endoscopy area
• Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts with varying start times
• On-call: Required for evenings, nights, and weekends

Qualifications

• Current New York State RN Registration
• Certified in BLS (Basic Life Support) and able to be recertified
• Minimum 1.5 years recent acute care experience within the past 2 years, preferably in a hospital of similar size and level
• Previous endoscopy and recovery room experience preferred
• Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• No history of professional license or certification suspension or investigation
• No involvement as a defendant in a professional liability claim
• Legal right to work in the U.S.
• Must pass pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and criminal background check

Duties

• Perform majority of patient care skills in acute care setting
• Conduct nursing assessments with minimal orientation and supervision
