Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Endoscopy
Position Details
- Role: Registered Nurse (RN) for Endoscopy area
- Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts with varying start times
- On-call: Required for evenings, nights, and weekends
Qualifications
- Current New York State RN Registration
- Certified in BLS (Basic Life Support) and able to be recertified
- Minimum 1.5 years recent acute care experience within the past 2 years, preferably in a hospital of similar size and level
- Previous endoscopy and recovery room experience preferred
- Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- No history of professional license or certification suspension or investigation
- No involvement as a defendant in a professional liability claim
- Legal right to work in the U.S.
- Must pass pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and criminal background check
Duties
- Perform majority of patient care skills in acute care setting
- Conduct nursing assessments with minimal orientation and supervision
