Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech (Travel)

Location: Albany, New York
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Perform diagnostic examinations during invasive cardiology, noninvasive cardiology, and peripheral vascular study procedures under the direction of an Interventional Cardiologist.
Collect and record subjective data to assist in establishing accurate anatomical and physiological diagnoses.
Call commitment includes 1 weeknight and 1 weekend per month.

Requirements

Minimum of an Associate Degree, or graduation from an approved Cardiovascular Training Program or accredited Allied Health Program.
Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) is required.
Experience: At least 2 years in the cardiovascular specialty.
Must obtain and maintain certifications in:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Adult Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
