Description

Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Syracuse, NY
Start Date: 10/6/2025
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, Monday–Friday 8:00a–4:30p, one weekend per month
Hours: 5x8s, 40 hours/week
No on-call required

Facility: Acute care or outpatient rehabilitation setting

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Physical Therapy

  • NYS License or eligible

  • Minimum 2 years of PT experience, acute or outpatient preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients and implement individualized treatment programs

  • Formulate specific goals in collaboration with patients and healthcare team

  • Prepare and maintain patient notes and discharge records in a timely manner

  • Attend clinics, rounds, and conferences; communicate patient progress

  • Participate in educational programs for staff, students, and volunteers

  • Train new staff and serve as clinical instructor for senior-level students

  • Facilitate development of new rehabilitation programs
