Description

Travel Ultrasound Tech – Vascular/General
Location: Syracuse, NY
Start Date: 11/10/2025
Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Evenings, Thursday – Sunday, 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM (4x10s)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
On Call: None

Qualifications:

Graduate of an ultrasound program accredited by CHEA/USDOE in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
RDMS certification in Abdominal and OB/Gyn – required
Minimum 1 year of ultrasound/vascular experience

Responsibilities:

Independently operate sonographic equipment to perform diagnostic exams
Accurately differentiate between normal and pathologic findings
Obtain and document appropriate patient medical history
Communicate findings to radiologist promptly
Manage daily operations of the sonography lab, including patient scheduling, equipment maintenance, and QA procedures
