Travel Radiologic Technologist – CT
Location: Syracuse, NY
Start Date: 10/6
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Evenings, 5x8s
A facility in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Radiologic Technologist – CT with GE or Toshiba CT experience.
Duties:
-
Perform radiographic examinations under the direction of departmental radiologists
-
Greet patients, explain procedures, position patients, and set appropriate exposure factors to obtain quality studies
-
Apply appropriate radiation safety and protection measures to minimize exposure
-
Operate imaging equipment efficiently and effectively; report equipment malfunctions to supervisor

Process films and input data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) for documentation and billing
-
Follow departmental procedures and protocols as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual

Provide radiologic examinations based on referring physician and radiologist needs
Qualifications:
-
A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
-
NYS license/registration required
-
Minimum of 1 year CT/MRI experience as a Radiologic Technologist required

GE or Toshiba CT experience preferred
