Location: Syracuse, NY
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: 10/17/2025
Shift: Nights | 12-hour shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every other weekend & some holidays required

Job Summary:
HumanEdge Health is seeking experienced night shift RNs for a 13-week travel assignment in the Adult Cardiac/Trauma Surgical Step Down unit in Syracuse, NY. Candidates should have prior Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience and be proficient with EPIC.

Assignment Details:

• Duration: 13 weeks

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

• Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Every other weekend & some holidays

• Set schedules; extended time-off requests (more than 7 days) will not be granted

Qualifications:

• Active New York RN license – Required

• BLS Certification – Required

• ACLS Certification – Preferred

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent critical care or step-down experience in an acute care facility of similar size/level – Required

• Trauma experience in Level 1 or Level 2 hospital – Required

• EPIC EMR experience – Preferred

• Strong communication, assessment, and clinical judgment skills

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care for patients in the Surgical Step Down unit

• Perform thorough nursing assessments and implement individualized care plans

• Administer medications, monitor cardiac/trauma patients, and manage telemetry

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members

• Deliver patient care with minimal orientation and supervision
