Travel: EEG Technician
Location: Syracuse, NY
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 5x8s, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, every other weekend

Description:
Seeking a skilled EEG Technician to perform routine EEGs in both outpatient and inpatient settings on patients ranging from neonatal to geriatric. Must be detail-oriented, with strong computer, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Qualifications:

  • Registered EEG Technologist (R EEG T)

  • Minimum 1 year EEG experience

  • BLS/CPR certified

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine EEGs according to ASET guidelines

  • Measure and apply electrodes for adult and pediatric patients

  • Perform descriptive analysis of EEG waveforms and patterns

  • Enter raw data and prepare for physician review

  • Edit 24-hour EEG recordings as needed

  • Maintain and stock equipment, report malfunctions, and record in equipment log

  • Provide appropriate patient/family interaction

  • Follow hospital and departmental policies and procedures
