Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Key West, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM), 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts, no block scheduling
Facility uses Medhost charting system
Must be comfortable working independently with NICU patients
Pediatric experience is also acceptable

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience
Florida RRT or CRT license
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP
AHCA certification required for Florida placements

Responsibilities

Provide cardiopulmonary services following approved protocols and department policies
Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
Maintain airways and manage ventilators
Perform insertion of arterial lines and intubations
Conduct pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gas analysis
