Shift: Days/Evenings – Mix of 8s & 12s
Schedule: Monday–Friday + Every 3rd Weekend
On-Call: Not specified
Hours: 80 hours biweekly

Position Overview

HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a travel assignment in Syracuse, NY. This position is within an Adult Operating Room setting, supporting a wide range of surgical cases including general, orthopedic, trauma, neurology, and robotics. Candidates must be able to circulate and scrub.

Shift Details

Mix of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts:
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
11:00 AM – 11:30 PM

Monday–Friday schedule

Every 3rd weekend required

80 hours per 2-week pay period

Requirements

Minimum 2 years recent OR experience required
Must have experience in:
General Surgery
Orthopedic
Trauma
Neuro
Robotics

Must be able to scrub

Valid RN license

BLS certification required

ACLS preferred

Strong ability to work independently in a fast-paced OR setting

Responsibilities

Provide direct perioperative nursing care to surgical patients
Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs
Maintain sterile technique and OR safety standards
Prepare and operate OR equipment efficiently
Manage patient assessments and documentation
