Location: Syracuse, NY
Start Date: 11/14
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts (07:00–19:30), every other weekend and some holidays

Position Overview:
HumanEdge Health is seeking experienced Emergency Department RNs for a travel assignment at a Level 1 trauma center in Syracuse, NY. This role requires flexibility to float to Pediatric ED and other cross-campus AED units as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for adult and pediatric patients in the ED

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and interventions appropriate to acuity level

• Administer medications, monitor patient status, and respond to emergencies

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for safe, efficient patient care

• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR

• Function independently with minimal orientation while providing high-quality care

Qualifications:

• Current New York State RN license

• BLS certification (must be current or able to recertify)

• Minimum 1.5 years recent acute care RN experience (within past 2 years) in a facility of equal or greater size/trauma designation

• Level 1 or 2 trauma experience preferred

• EPIC EMR experience preferred

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Requirements:

• Ability to float to Pediatric ED and other AED units as needed

• Flexible with weekends and holidays as scheduled

• Demonstrated competency in emergency nursing skills
