Travel: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (Days)
Location: Syracuse, NY
Start Date: 11/14
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts (07:00–19:30), every other weekend and some holidays
Position Overview:
HumanEdge Health is seeking experienced Emergency Department RNs for a travel assignment at a Level 1 trauma center in Syracuse, NY. This role requires flexibility to float to Pediatric ED and other cross-campus AED units as needed.
Responsibilities:

Provide care for adult and pediatric patients in the ED
-
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and interventions appropriate to acuity level
-
Administer medications, monitor patient status, and respond to emergencies
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for safe, efficient patient care
-
Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR
-
Function independently with minimal orientation while providing high-quality care
Qualifications:
-
Current New York State RN license
-
BLS certification (must be current or able to recertify)

Minimum 1.5 years recent acute care RN experience (within past 2 years) in a facility of equal or greater size/trauma designation

Level 1 or 2 trauma experience preferred

EPIC EMR experience preferred

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Requirements:

Ability to float to Pediatric ED and other AED units as needed

Flexible with weekends and holidays as scheduled

Demonstrated competency in emergency nursing skills
