Department: Cancer Center – Radiation Therapy

Description:
A hospital-based cancer center in Canton, GA is seeking an experienced Travel Radiation Therapy Technologist for a 12-week assignment. The technologist will deliver radiation treatments safely and accurately to patients while maintaining proper documentation and compliance with safety standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Radiation Therapy

• Certifications:

  • BLS (required)

  • Radiation Therapy Technologist credential

Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation treatments according to prescribed plans

• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures

• Operate and monitor radiation therapy equipment

• Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation

• Collaborate with oncology team to provide high-quality patient care

Winter Holiday Requirements:
Travelers must work one major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year’s Day) and one minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve).
