Travel Dialysis RN – Acute (10hr Days)
Location: Scranton, PA
Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: 12/15/2025
Shift: 4x10hr Days, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
On Call: Every other weekend and select weekdays as needed
Holiday Coverage: Possible call for Thanksgiving and Christmas; open on New Year’s Day

Average 40–60 acute treatments per month

Patient ratio: 1–2 patients per RN; 3–4 with PCT support

Cerner experience preferred
Requirements:
-
1–2 years recent acute dialysis experience required
-
BLS/CPR required
-
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently

Previous hospital dialysis experience preferred
Role Overview:
The RN provides acute inpatient hemodialysis treatment, manages dialysis access (CVC, AVF, AVG), monitors patients for complications, documents care accurately, and ensures safe and efficient delivery of dialysis therapy. Responsibilities also include setup, operation, and disinfection of dialysis machines and water systems per policy. The RN demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership, and provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
