Travel RN – Biobehavioral Health Unit (Inpatient Pediatrics)

Location: Syracuse, NY
Start Date: 12/05/2025
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights / 12-hour shifts / Every other weekend + some holidays required

Position Overview:
Seeking experienced RNs for the Biobehavioral Health Unit providing inpatient care to pediatric psychiatric and behavioral health patients. Position requires floating to all pediatric locations. Ideal candidates will have trauma center experience and expertise in behavioral health within a pediatric setting.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of behavioral health experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center

  • Current New York State RN license

  • BLS required

  • EPIC experience preferred

  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients with behavioral health needs

  • Perform nursing assessments and interventions with minimal supervision

  • Float across pediatric inpatient units as required

  • Collaborate with the healthcare team and ensure patient safety
