ICU - Intensive Care Unit

<h2>Travel ICU RN – Norwich, CT</h2>

Assignment: 12 weeks 
Start Date: 12/15 
Shift: Nights (NOC), 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) 
Schedule: 3 × 12s, 36 hours/week, every other weekend, holidays as needed 
On Call: None


<h3>Qualifications:</h3>

<ul>
	<li>
	2+ years ICU experience
	
	</li><li>
	PCU experience required (dual-level care unit with ICU overflow)
	
	</li><li>
	Experience in telemetry/PCU/ICU environments
	
	</li><li>
	Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
	
</li></ul>


<h3>Responsibilities:</h3>

<ul>
	<li>
	Provide high-level care for a dual-level unit (Telemetry/PCU/ICU)
	
	</li><li>
	Manage patient ratios of:

	<ul>
		</ul></li><li>
		1:5–6 (floor/telemetry)
		
		</li><li>
		1:3 (PCU)
		
		</li><li>
		1:2 (ICU)
		
	</li></ul>
	
	<li>
	Care for patients with common diagnoses including chest pain, stroke, respiratory failure, and sepsis
	
	</li><li>
	Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective patient care
	
	</li><li>
	Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit protocols in a primary stroke center
