Travel RN – Critical Care – Pediatric ICU (PICU) – Syracuse, NY
Start Date: 12/12
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days – 12-hour shifts
Specialty: RN – Critical Care / Pediatric ICU
Care Setting: Acute Care – Level 1/Level 2 Trauma PICU
Role Overview
Seeking experienced Day PICU RNs for a high-acuity Pediatric ICU.
Candidates must have 3 years of PICU experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center.
Every other weekend and some holiday coverage required.
EPIC experience preferred.
Qualifications

Current New York State RN license/registration
-
BLS certification (must be able to be recertified)

Minimum 3 years recent PICU experience (within the past 2 years)

Experience must be in an acute care hospital of similar size or larger, or a trauma center

EPIC EMR experience preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Duties & Responsibilities

Provide high-level pediatric critical care with minimal orientation

Perform majority of PICU-specific patient care skills

Conduct thorough and accurate nursing assessments

Deliver safe and effective care in a high-acuity environment

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support pediatric patient recovery

Experience in comparable or larger hospital systems
