Job Opportunity: Medical - Surgical (Telemetry) Travel Nurse

Position Details

• Specialty: Medical - Surgical (Telemetry)
• Employment Type: Travel
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend required
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly (does not include on-call time)
• Start Date: December 9 only
• Orientation: One orientation per month; pass/fail ECG/Telemetry and Medications test on day one
• Location Restriction: No local travelers accepted (must reside more than 50 miles from the facility)
• Time Off: No time off will be considered during the 8-week need period

Experience & Qualifications

• 2-3 years of related work experience required
• MA license required
• Certifications required:

  • CPR-AHA
  • ACLS-AHA
• Preferred:

  • CCRN certification
• Skills:

  • Ventilator management
  • Vasoactive and sedation titration
  • Hemodynamic monitoring
  • Cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management
  • Post STEMI care
• Epic experience required

This role is ideal for experienced telemetry nurses comfortable with night shifts and working in a fast-paced hospital environment.
