Job Opportunity: Acute Inpatient Physical Therapist

Position Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts, either 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM
• Schedule: Every other weekend required
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly (does not include on-call time)
• Orientation: Every other week

Requirements

• Must have a valid MA Physical Therapist license
• CPR certification required
• Experience in inpatient physical therapy
• No local travelers accepted (must reside more than 50 miles from the facility)
• Candidates who have worked for this health system as permanent or per diem staff within the last six months are not eligible (must have a six-month separation)

Job Description

• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team in an acute inpatient setting
• Perform patient evaluations and develop plans of care
• Provide physical therapy treatment for patients with a wide variety of diagnoses
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers
• Complete all required documentation accurately and timely
• Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities

• All return-to-office (RTO) requests must be presented at the time of submission
• Candidates must be prepared to provide availability for interviews at submission
