Description

Job Opportunity: Telemetry Nurse (12-Hour Night Shift)

Position Details

Shift: 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Unit: 2 East, a 49-bed general medical/surgical telemetry unit
Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients with a wide variety of acute conditions and multiple comorbidities
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly (excluding on-call time)
Start Date: ASAP, with start dates at least 4 weeks out
Orientation: Biweekly sessions

Requirements

Current Massachusetts RN License (must have at time of submission)
Current Telemetry experience
Med Surg experience preferred
Current ACLS certification required
Current AHABLS certification required
Experience with Meditech EMR
Effective communication and time management skills
Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (no local travelers)
Must not have worked for this hospital system as permanent or per diem staff within the last 6 months (6-month separation required)

Additional Information

Pass/fail testing required prior to acceptance: ECG/Telemetry test and medication test (one-time exam, proctored via Zoom, to be scheduled within 48 hours of tentative offer)
All return-to-office (RTO) requests must be presented at time of submission
