About the Role
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel Surgical Technologist III for a 13-week assignment in Albany, NY. This position requires a highly skilled OR professional with strong experience in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgeries. The Surgical Tech will assist in complex procedures and support the surgical team in delivering safe, efficient patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and ensure all instruments and equipment are sterile and ready for procedures

• Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies during surgery

• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols

• Support multiple surgical specialties, including cardiac, neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular

• Participate in post-procedure room turnover and instrument reprocessing

• Provide on-call support as required

Required Qualifications

• NBSTSA CST certification (must be active at the time of submission)

• BLS certification

• 2+ years of Surgical Tech experience in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular procedures
